Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy is designed to help individuals, couples, and families navigate
emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Through evidence-based therapeutic
approaches, we provide a supportive and confidential environment where clients can explore
their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with a licensed mental health professional.

Our Services Include:

  1. Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions that focus on personal growth, coping skills,
stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and other emotional concerns.
  2. Family Therapy: Helps improve communication and resolve conflicts within family
units. Ideal for families coping with major life transitions, behavioral issues, or mental
    health challenges.
  3. Couples Therapy: Supports partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust,
resolving conflicts, and strengthening their relationship.
  4. Child & Adolescent Therapy: Age-appropriate therapy for children and teens dealing
with academic stress, family issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral
    concerns.

Therapeutic Psychotherapy Approaches We Use:

1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors.
Often used for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and phobias.

2. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
A form of CBT that emphasizes emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance,
and interpersonal effectiveness.
Originally developed for borderline personality disorder; also used for self-harm, mood
disorders, and trauma.

3. Psychodynamic Therapy
Explores unconscious processes, past experiences, and emotional conflicts.
Helps clients gain insight into how early relationships influence current behavior.

4. Behavioral Therapy
Based on principles of learning and conditioning.
Uses reinforcement and behavior modification strategies to change specific behaviors
(often used with children, developmental disorders).

5. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Goal-directed and future-focused; helps clients build solutions rather than analyze problems.
Often used in short-term therapy and crisis settings.

6. Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Focuses on improving communication patterns and relationship functioning.
Often used for depression and interpersonal conflict.
