John Sabatier, M.D.
Psychiatrist
I received my medical doctorate from Louisiana State University in General Family Medicine in 1970 and Internal Medicine in 1974. After 25 years of General private practice in Jennings, LA, I returned back to LSU Medical School and received my medical doctorate in Psychiatry in 2001. I was a Staff Psychiatrist at Southeast Louisiana State Hospital for 12 years and private practice in the Mandeville area. I feel that I bring a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients that suffer from mental illness.

Scott St. Amant, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing. I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience includes clients with behavioral, mood, anxiety, personality, and autistic spectrum disorders as well as those with co-occurring substance abuse/dependence disorders. I also have extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Having practiced at many of the busiest hospitals in the New Orleans metropolitan area, I realize the value of psychiatric care and how deeply mental illness affects both clients and families.

Adam Allen, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I obtained my B.S. in Nursing in 2006 and a Master of Science in Nursing (Primary Care) in 2011 from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a post-master’s certification in Family Psychiatry in 2014 and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2017 from the University of South Alabama. My work experience includes cardiac intensive care and the provision of primary care to a veteran population suffering from chronic homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorders in the Greater New Orleans area. I have completed general psychiatry nursing residencies from 2013 – 2017 and have been practicing psychiatry at LifeNet since 2019.

Jennifer Day, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans. With a broad range of experience, I have supported individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and significant life transitions.
My work has spanned both public and private sectors, including roles as a Professional
School Counselor in K-12 education, Interim Clinical Manager for the Youth Service Bureau, and owner of a private counseling practice. I specialize in working with individuals at pivotal life moments—those starting over after divorce, new college students, the newly widowed, women in transition seeking renewed self-worth, and new mothers adjusting to life changes. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can find healing, regain balance, and move toward a life of greater happiness and well-being.

I am a New Orleans area native and a graduate of Northwestern State University. I have been operating Psychiatric practices for the past 15 years. Before that I was CEO of Southern Eye Bank of New Orleans.
My hobbies include biking and all water sport activities. I firmly believe that mental clarity begins with physical exertion. When you start exercising, that increases serotonin and dopamine levels—Healthy Body, Healthy Mind. Engaging in these activities not only brings me joy but also serves as a foundational part of my overall mental wellness.
