John Sabatier, M.D.
I received my medical doctorate from Louisiana State University in General Family Medicine in 1970 and Internal Medicine in 1974. After 25 years of General private practice in Jennings, LA, I returned back to LSU Medical School and received my medical doctorate in Psychiatry in 2001. I was a Staff Psychiatrist at Southeast Louisiana State Hospital for 12 years and private practice in the Mandeville area. I feel that I bring a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients that suffer from mental illness.
Scott St. Amant, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing. I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience includes clients with behavioral, mood, anxiety, personality, and autistic spectrum disorders as well as those with co-occurring substance abuse/dependence disorders. I also have extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Having practiced at many of the busiest hospitals in the New Orleans metropolitan area, I realize the value of psychiatric care and how deeply mental illness affects both clients and families.
Jennifer Shiver, Psy.D
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical/Forensic Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida in 2002 and have been practicing in the Mandeville area for the past 12 years. I have extensive experience in conducting assessments for issues related to impairments in attention, executive functioning, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and behavior modification. I am also experienced in conducting assessments for psychoeducational treatment planning and forensic determinations (e.g., custody) for youth and adults.
Jennifer Imbraguglio, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I received my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. I am board certified as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I have experience working with patients six-years old and older with various diagnoses including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood, and psychotic disorders. Also, I have a background working as an emergency room nurse at a Level II Trauma Center. My passion lies in helping those with their mental health, using a holistic approach giving patients the opportunity to live life to their fullest capability. I believe your mental health is as important as your physical health.
Adam Allen, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I obtained my B.S. in Nursing in 2006 and a Master of Science in Nursing (Primary Care) in 2011 from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a post-master’s certification in Family Psychiatry in 2014 and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2017 from the University of South Alabama. My work experience includes cardiac intensive care and the provision of primary care to a veteran population suffering from chronic homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorders in the Greater New Orleans area. I have completed general psychiatry nursing residencies from 2013 – 2017 and have been practicing psychiatry at LifeNet since 2019.
