John Sabatier, M.D.
I received my medical doctorate from Louisiana State University in General Family Medicine in 1970 and Internal Medicine in 1974. After 25 years of General private practice in Jennings, LA, I returned back to LSU Medical School and received my medical doctorate in Psychiatry in 2001. I was a Staff Psychiatrist at Southeast Louisiana State Hospital for 12 years and private practice in the Mandeville area. I feel that I bring a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients that suffer from mental illness.
Scott St. Amant, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing. I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience includes clients with behavioral, mood, anxiety, personality, and autistic spectrum disorders as well as those with co-occurring substance abuse/dependence disorders. I also have extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Having practiced at many of the busiest hospitals in the New Orleans metropolitan area, I realize the value of psychiatric care and how deeply mental illness affects both clients and families.
Jennifer Shiver, Psy.D
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical/Forensic Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida in 2002 and have been practicing in the Mandeville area for the past 12 years. I have extensive experience in conducting assessments for issues related to impairments in attention, executive functioning, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and behavior modification. I am also experienced in conducting assessments for psychoeducational treatment planning and forensic determinations (e.g., custody) for youth and adults.
Lindy Guidry, LPC-S
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certificated Counselor. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am currently working towards my doctorate in Counselor Education with an emphasis on community mental health. I have experience working in private practice, non-profit clinical client care, in the public school setting, and with children, adolescents and families in the foster care system. I have also worked as clinical director in an outpatient mental health rehabilitation program for adults and helped individuals and families on a variety of counseling issues including depression, grief, anxiety, adjustment to disability issues, oppositional and deviant behavior, and those diagnosed with chronic and severe mental illness. I integrate complementary methodologies and therapeutic techniques to offer a highly personalized approach to each individual that I work with. Clients ages 5 to 85 find that my knowledgeable, relaxed, caring and collaborative approach helps to make the therapeutic experience a gratifying and rewarding one.
Gerry Cabirac, LPC-S

I am Licensed Professional Counselor and have training ans experience in a number of complementary and integrative methods of treatment. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Greenley, Colorado in Community Counseling, Metro State College, Denver, Colorado in Art and Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado in Art. My training ans experience also includes EMDR, Guided Imagery, Auricular Acupuncture, and clinical hypnosis within the framework of Cognitive Behavioral Theory. I have worked in various clinical settings including hospitals, PHP and IOP programs and community based therapy settings, Residential treatment programs and the school system. My experience is with children age 6 to adult to age 97. I believe my background and training allow me to function in a creative, nurturing and broad-based skill manner with a broad populations and in various modalities including individual and groups.
